Villa's out. Although I'm currently in the Hilary denial mode, but, the future does look quite gloomy. I wouldn't say never until it's actually never, but Villa's not playing the final it seems. Oh, side note, he's freaking sexy when wet, so, Viena, keep raining.

 

Altintop had it out with Klose. No, he didn't propose! I mean they quarreled. Poldoski saved the day it seems, well fuck him.

 

and Now, the question of the day, is Aragonés an idiot?

A: I'm incline to say yes, but he did get Spain into the final after… 20 years? 24 years? Taking Villa has certainly paid off for him, of course this is not saying that Raul will ruin Spain or whatever. But Spain's first half against Russia, and the match against Italy, really look dull and without imagination. No winger movement, all bottle up in the midfield and knock the ball around. I really have to question his decision of bringing no winger to Switzerland-Austria. It's one thing you don't play that formation, it's another you leave another option when your midfield plan don't work. I have the feeling that Spain win not because they're better, plainly because the opposition sucks. Italy's just plain horrible, Russia, well I think someone put some voodoo on them, or they got struck collectively by that awesome lightning over Viena. Russia, I hardly recognize ya!

Still, an ugly Spain is still better than the uglier Germany, I think you'll find a glimpse of whom I support.. oops, I'm not suppose to jinx them.
